I had a real iron-stone meteorite and wanted to make carving out of it for a long time. So I made a handmade, steampunk style pendant with it.

That meteorite is a very interesting material, stone-like but it contains so much iron that it can be magnetized. It’s a strong and hard stone, so it was hard enough to cut and polish, but it was worth it because it had a very nice, interesting surface. It’s hard stone but my Dremel rotary tool helped me with the carving.

The other parts of the pendant were carved from brass, steel, and ther metal bolts, screws, tubes and some common metal elements.
