Also, not a Nirvana guitar, but a guitar that I burned with the Nirvana logo, Kurt Cobain’s face, signature, and an iconic Nirvana smile graphic on it.
My daughter got a pink guitar from me when she was young. Compared to being a 3/4, the guitar sounded surprisingly nice and wasn’t really false either. For a while this guitar was in pretty bad shape already, the paint started to bounce off of it.
When I was young, I was one of those who was greatly influenced by the music of Nirvana, the penetrating power and energy that flowed from them. Since my daughter became a big fan of this band, and the guitar was hers, too, the idea of looking good with a Kurt Cobain portrait, Nirvana logo, and iconic Nirvana smile was obvious.
I have a great Dremel pyrograph tool that I have wanted to try for a long time for more serious work and drawing tasks. As you can see in the video, it’s amazingly great stuff, I also took great advantage in removing the paint, but it was also very helpful in making the drawing that I was able to shade the image with it in many ways.
The music is again my own composition, I wanted to achieve a similar style with it as Nirvana at his unpugged concert. It was hard enough because Nirvana’s vocal-centric, Kurt Cobain’s tone and style dominate their music. But maybe he managed to make it fit the video.
